Luca Pianca
Luca Pianca, Swiss Music Prize in 2018, studied in Milan and Salzburg with Nikolaus Harnoncourt. He started his collaboration with Concentus Musicus Wien in 1982. He is co-founder of Il Giardino Armonico and has worked with singers such as Christoph Pregardien, Eva Mei and Georg Nigl. He has recorded over 70 CDs, including integrals of Bach and Vivaldi's music for the lute.
As a chamber musician, Luca Pianca often collaborates with Vittorio Ghielmi and Dimitri Sinkovsky. He has played in the world's best-known concert venues, such as the Philharmonie in Berlin, the Konzerthaus and the Musikverein in Vienna, the Carnegie Hall in New York and the Cité de la Musique in Paris.
