Electro Acoustic Room: a room dedicated to immersive listening and the practice of multi-channel diffusion. A practice that dates back to the dawn of electronic music. An art of interpretation and listening: a diffusion technique that uses speakers as instruments, but not only. And this is where the acousmatic performer and the technique of spatialisation come into play. The latter is a discipline that is studied in electronic music schools all over the world. The composition class of the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana will perform some pieces from the electronic and acousmatic repertoire in the light of those sensitive peculiarities that every performer, as a human being, can add to a work of art, albeit "fixed on electronic support".
