Ema MAgNi, guitar, synthesisers, magnetic tape
B, Brian Burgan, audio engineer and sound designer

Coming from an existence always on the verge of frenzy, almost like the old animals of the musicians' fairy tale, B and Ema MAgNi decide to set off virtually to find a refreshing change in the sound.

BREMAN Musikanten is a live cross between sound design and ambient drone music. Waiting is an integral part of the production: a sound flow in constant, slow and progressive evolution that pushes itself to the limits of perception. While waiting, we will dance with our own shadow.

Brian Burgan is an audio engineer and sound designer. He discovered his passion for sound early in life by learning first the guitar, then the techniques of recording and audio manipulation. During his academic studies he discovered, among the many genres of electronics, the acousmatic music and Bernard Parmegiani became his reference, together with Brian Eno. He released for several independent record companies of the electronic music scene including MagmatiQ and Pitch The Noise Records. Over the years and through various formations, he has made of his passion a profession.

The musical vocation of Ema MAgNi began during his adolescence. He played in different local groups as a drummer and percussionist, but mainly he dedicated himself, with other musicians, to improvised performances in damp, dark and without audience places. Exhausted by the rhythm, he took refuge in the languid solitude of the piano first, and in the tonal multitude of analogue synthesis later. In 2012 he discovered the microphone and that out there, in the world, the sounds never end.
